Problems with removable stems. If they are not tight, they leak. Worse is the stem can come out and stick in a CO2 type filler. Nearly impossible to fix the filler on the road. Plan on having spare tubes plus alternate way of filling OR walking home. One stem came out just talking off the cap. Removed the stem on the other seven with my fingers. Put lock-tight on the threads and reassemble firmly. Appears to be the new normal on bicycle tubes.

I have used these for years and have found them to be more durable then any of the thinner brands. I use them on my non-deep dish wheel sets. Would recommend, but hate to see the NOS run out.
