My DSs had issues where they wouldn't boot, so this means that the flex cables was not the real issue. It must be the boards themselves. However, the flex cables still worked as intended for the DS to startup, but still doesn't boot. Still, this did what it was intended to do and I'm giving this item the most appropriate rating.
