It said to leave it on for 20 mins, but I emptied the contents of the three sachets into a clean pump dispenser bottle I had, and used it leaving on only for 5 minutes each time till I get the shade I'm looking for. No gloves with item so make sure you get some. Lovely colour so far. Am definitely going to order a lot more.
