In zeitgemäßer Grafik springen und rennen Spieler mit den Giana Sisters durch die redesignten Level in verschiedenen Welten. Wer das Jump'n'Run besonders gut meistert, kann sich an verschiedenen Stellen über Bonuslevel und besondere Belohnungen freuen. Musikalisch wird der ganze Spielspaß mit einer von Fabian Del Priore überarbeiteten Version des Original-Giana-Sisters-Soundtrack von Kult-Komponist Chris Hülsbeck hinterlegt.
