    A phone on your ear

    I have been using the TL7600 for several years. I use it so much I wore it out. Now I am replacing it. It is not a cell phone. It is not blue tooth. It is a real remote, portable phone with a coverage area of at least 100 feet. The earpiece seals with your auricle -- it does not stick inside your ear. You can mute and adjust the volume. I use it for business calls in my home office. I can type, listen, and deliver presentations easily. It is worth every penny I paid.

    Fine print.

    All articles and videos, said that this unit would work with the CL82301 phone set. Only one article, had an asterisk.This unit will only work if you have the "AT&T TL7610 DECT 6.0 Cordless Wireless Headset Base Unit", which sells for $189.99 on ebay; item 262469134524. Does any know if this unit goes better with ketchup, or mustard? Thank you.

    Nothing like having your hands free to work while you talk.

    I've been using AT&T headsets for years and never had a complaint. Well, not until I forgot and left one out in the rain. I hoped for the best, but the microphone was damaged. given that it was not designed to be left out in the weather, I'm surprised the receiver continued to work. So this purchase was a replacement. Unfortunately, my base phone is a few years old and nothing newer would "pair" with it, so I'm sort of locked in to this model. But they work great, so I bought a back up as well. Once you have had one of these you'll find it annoying to take a call on a hand held unit. It's just so convenient to be able to continue with what you were doing and still be able to talk.

    Works well when it wants to work

    I was in a car accident 12-31-2004. It left me with permanent issues. One is a messed up neck from getting hit twice so imagine holding a phone up to your ear with a messed up neck. I purchased this ear piece back in 2014 I believe and it finally broke around the beginning of this year. When it worked it worked very well. I'm giving this 3 stars because it likes to drop phone calls. It says the battery can last up to 8 hours w/o being on it's charger but I wouldn't know because when the call drops it doesn't give an error or low battery status or anything. I noticed on the back one of the gold prongs was broke so I opted to buy another. This one. It wouldn't pair with my phone and it says it's compatible with my CL82201 phone. It's not. So I don't know what to do and which one to get ...
