Yes, it works!
Expensive? Yes. Effective? Absolutely! My 40-year old fair, sensitive skin has issues with sun damage, dehydration, and acne. We're all different, but for me Jan Marini's Age Intervention Booster is much more effective than Retin-A. Within the first week my skin changed enormously. It was smooth, glowing, and clear...radiant really. I experienced no irritation with this like I had with Retin-A. This "lotion" feels gentle and doesn't have much of a fragrance (good or bad), so my skin stays happy! Also, the Booster is not as expensive as it might seem. It's supposed to last six weeks (one vial per week, 2x's a day). I followed the directions, using the Booster on my face, neck, and chest. I was not trying to be stingy at all. Hormonal acne came back with a vengence, my eyes started looking their age again, and overall I lost the radiance I had been enjoying. I had always wanted to try this highly touted product. I followed the regimen faithfully for 6 weeks, abandoning for the duration other facial care products. In conjunction with above and with high expectations, I also used C-esta serum at night, and, in the daytime, Peptide Extreme Facial serum. While there was no harm done, neither could I discern any smoothing of fine lines around mouth and eyes (I did apply over entire face and neck). So, Jan Marini does not after all offer a 'magic bullet'for 'age intervention'.
