This is a thermal printer, which doesn’t use ink. The paper quality depends on the POS software you’re using, not the printer itself. Please check if you're using the correct paper roll or if there’s a different printer involved. This is the first time I’ve heard of such an issue, and over 1000 printers have been sold.
