Likes: Contains torque specs, basic instructions for most applications, VIN decoding, hp/tq ratings per model, year specific instructions/diagrams. Dislikes: Wiring diagrams are just basic circuitry. I bought it for the diagrams and it does not include the underdash/steering column wiring so if you happen to be rewiring your car with a universal harness, buy an aftermarket diagram. I'll be making a walkthrough with lots of pictures of how to use a Summit Racing Universal 18-circuit GM harness in a 1969 Firebird and I'll be posting it on www.firebirdnation.com and www.ls1tech.com in case you need it. I'm still rewiring, but I'll try to have it up by March 2008. Just do a search for it. Most useful when needing to know spark plug gaps, how to set the points, timing, valve lash, torque specs, alignment settings, etc.--year specific settings that you just don't find without a lot of searching. I consider a Chilton's as a must-have tool in restoring a car.Read full review
I am very satisfied with this manual as it answers all the repair questions I have about this vehicle.
