  • True to its title, SHORT !

In most parts - interesting : but then in statistical content too detailed & not enough of the important families which established industry & commerce within Hobart itself ! The Boat builders, using Huon; the Fisheries & Scallop gatherers ,who thus used said boats ! Cascade Brewers , commenced - by great litigation ( against Arthur,) on the Derwent,at the Cascades !........and Etc., & Etc. ! Concern of Gov., Arthur , smashing print presses so "scandalous stories" may not reach Home - England ,sa to the tyranical despot Arthur had become . So that's how the free press came into existence in this country ;by the efforts of Murray - for whom Murray St., Hobart is named ! And many such others as by-passed on the way to statistical notes .
