Star Spangled Banner great story for children
We live near Baltimore , MD the location of Fort McHenry NPS. Our four year old grandson has been singing (his version)of the National Anthem - Star Spangled Banner. He wanted to know about things in the lyrics like "ramparts" and "twilight gleaming". I found this book listed on the internet with high marks and ordered a copy for him. The illustrations are well done and the lyrics included as F S Key may have experienced the battle - America Second Independence.

Truly inspiring and a great gift idea for kids!
A truly inspiring book about our flag. Did you know there are more stanza's in the National Anthem than what is normally song?! This book was a real eye opener and am glad I got it. Great to give to kids and if you know how to play music the notes are all there for you to play. Loved it!
