my customer replied: "I took my laptop to Nick to replace my macbook pro's dead screen. The laptop is from 2017 so no longer under applecare warranty. Instead of replacing it with a new screen it was replaced with a used screen that had its own defects (Small black marks in the display) at a cost of $600 with a 30 day warranty. About 40 later the screen died. This time I took the laptop to the apple store to discover that replacing the laptop would cost $698 with a 90 day warranty."
