These are by far the best speakers I have ever used for a computer. It honestly sounds like I have a home theater on my desk. The bass is tremendous, and the highs and mids are crisp and wide. It sounds great for all types of music, movies, television, streaming, and gaming. I have zero complaints about this product. This is not overhyped, overpriced garbage. Bose is the real deal. I have tried other speakers in the past and they come nowhere near this level of performance. I also find the headphone jack in the front very convenient.

Unable to connect my left speaker (reg jack) to a latest connection. Therefore, I cannot comment on the quality of the item. Wal-Mart nor Best Buy carry an adapter to make the connection. I was looking for a return 'label' but could not find one. Subsequently, I'm stuck with an item I cannot use.

these are by far the best speakers I have ever had. The quality of the sound if fantastic. I wish I had bought this brand years ago. I dislike with a passion buzzing in speakers and these have not buzzed once with a large selection of types of music and games. They are a 5 star rating.

I had a pair of Bose Speakers with my first computer in 96. They lasted 12 years. I loved them....they had bass and treble control knobs, that allowed you to control those mp3's that may not have been mixed right. However the treble and bass mix in these, tho set, is actually pretty good.

Every review I saw of this speaker system was outstanding, and I must admit the views were for the most part correct. Granted, replacing my20-year-old Altec Lansing system wasn't easy. It has a treble-to-bass feature and a bass box, and if its economically reparable, I'll probably switch back. In the meantime, I'll enjoy this Bose system!

Bose is what I'd call "The Best" unless you are just a petty person. Extremely good sound! The quality of construction of the units themselves are unequaled! You not only will be happy with the results but it will instill pride in you that you own these. It is utterly amazing to get such sound from these size speakers. I have a Bose stereo entertainment system already, so I knew what to expect and was not disappointed in these. My wife is very happy, considering I bought them for her. A pair of used Bose speakers are a thousand times better than any of the new tinney sounding economy speakers found which fill the market place. Such are these that they help give you a better quality of life. Why buy cheap and be unhappy. Pay a little more and be awesomely glad you did so.

Great sound for a desktop, good for smaller rooms. A 10 or 15 year old pair for under $50 is worth buying over a new $85 to $100 pair of alternate brand speakers. As with any electrical item external wires will need replacing over time.

I've generally Bose's older Media Mate and now Companion series computer speakers to be excellent for the price - great and powerful sounding, well balanced, and generally pleasant sound in a compact package that is excellent for music. These Series III versions are no exception, but I'm giving them four stars because the sound isn't quite as balanced as previous versions. They have fantastic bass, but almost too much so that it overwhelms the higher frequencies a bit. The result is a sound that is a bit "muddier" than I would normally expect from Bose speakers, but it is still very good to excellent. I'm actually using this set not with a computer, but with a smart TV. They are great for streaming music, TV and movies without having to invest in a larger sound system. They are powerful enough that we are finding we are using our actual audio system with Bose Acoustimass speakers less and less in favor of this simple and elegant solution for the TV.Read full review

I have a Bose Wave II and a surround sound unit which I just love so I thought I would try these for my desk top computer. I don't use it often but when I do I like to listen to music or You Tube and WOW do they deliver great sound! I set the volume on the speakers at about 60% and then adjust the volume from my computer to a decent listening level (usually pretty loud). I have them facing each other one on either side of my desk (approximately 3' apart) and the sound seems to come from all around. $99.00 well spent!

My cyber acoustic computer speakers with sub died. So I thought I would step up to bose. I own a soundlink 1 and love it. When the speakers arrived I immediately hooked them up to my self phone and the sound was great. The next day when I hooked it up to my computer at work my coworkers were blown away by the sound the bass was awsome....Great speakers
