That would be perfect as I already have a range of Makita 18 volt tools and I could have used my existing 18 volt batteries and charger. BUT the polisher I now have is a 12 volt tool and I have had to buy 12 volt batteries and a charger at an unwanted cost of nearly $100. So disappointed in the incorrect description in the original listing.
