  • It broke early, but that may be because the of use that I put it to.

I bought one of these for use in jewelry making. I was going to punch holes in coins to make them into pendants. I punched two holes from each side into a single modern American penny (copper-plated zinc) and after the second hole, each punch broke. Sure, the penny now has four holes in it, but the piece of the penny that got punched out didn't eject properly and wound up sticking in the little hole of the brace, braking the part of the punch that does the punching. I was SO looking forward to using this because it looks and feels so well made, but I'm quite disappointed that it broke so quickly. I'm not saying that this is a bad product... it's quite possible that it just isn't made for the purpose I was trying to use it. I'm guess that for using this product to punch holes in ...

  • So far, so good!

I've punched a few holes so far and it went right through a penny! Seems like a pretty good tool to me. The only that that would be nice is an easier way to line things up. You definitely need to be careful about your placement.

  • Great tool.

A hard to find tool. Great for what we needed to do; punch holes in coins to make jewelry.

  • Broken

Great cost and nice finish but not made for coins. After using on ten pure copper pennies the tip broke off the larger of the larger punch.
