This product is very good,i have had dewalt for years. The impact is very strong i am a mechanic so i basically use it every day. It is small yet powerful i would recommend this product to anybody from who is a mechanic to job sites to people who just want to work on there cars. This product has three switches the low, medium, and high which is the max torque it can deliver. Though it does not replace my big air impact i still like it because it is small and portable package. I would recommend getting the dewalt 5 amp battery or the flex volt battery, the stronger the battery the longer and the more powerful it works. This product is brush less which means that is does not drain much power from the battery. In all it is a very good product.

Not impressed, expected more power than it has, I'd go with the bigger 1/2in personally. Not that much smaller than my big one and at times my big Dewalt can't even bust lugnuts loose and it's supposed to have 700ft/lbs.

It is a Dewalt, can't go wrong! Used this tool out of the box and exceeded my expectations! Unbelievable how I never used a tool like this as much as I work on cars! Zipped loose some very tough (and rusted) bolts without breaking them. Nice and compact so I was able to use it in hard to reach places. Get yourself a nice set of impact sockets and extensions and you will be set if you do much mechanic work! I have yet to run a battery (3 amp-hour) all the way out before needing to swap it out.

The DCF894B is the perfect mid size impact wrench. I bought it to rotate tires on my cars and it takes the lugs off effortlessly. I have two 20 volt batters from my drill that are only 1.3 Ah and it works fine, if you were going to use it all day then you should buy a higher Ah battery. I also purchased a torque wrench at HF so I don't over torque the lugs.

Excellent tool and it uses the same 20V batteries that my 1/4” Dewalt impact drill driver uses. The 1/2” impact will come in very handy to remove or to reinstall nuts/bolts that are to much for the 1/4” impact.

Worked great for swapping out summer tires for winter's on my truck.Had 2 size lug nuts so I use my DCF899HB and this for the job.Didn't want to fight with the hog ring on the DCF899HB changing sockets so it worked great and it's much lighter.

This is one of the best purchases I've made lately. It made quick work of my F150 lugs when I rotated the tires. I may end up getting rid of my 25 year old Ingersoll Rand air impact. Plenty of torque, and even after doing all 4 tires, I still had 3 bars on my 4 amp battery. Highly recommended!

This tool is just what I needed. Light and easy to handle, but strong enough to break free the lug nuts on my truck. I recommend the DCF894. Much handier compared to dragging an air hose around.

Dewalt Impact wrench DCF 894B is easy to use, feels good in the hand and can handle 99% of the job you would want to tackle with an Impact. Its built tough and has a design that will help it hold up for years to come. I really like mine and highly recommend it as your first line Impact wrench.

This is a very powerful tool that makes doing repairs or upgrades on one’s car/truck a breeze! Any kind of suspension work, taking off axle nuts, or lug nuts - no problem! If you are a DIY kind of person, like to work on your vehicles, and are invested into the DeWalt system of tools (and batteries), then buying this impact wrench is, in my opinion, simply a no-brainer! Highly recommended!
