On delivery, carrier insisted I produce my driver's licence before he would hand over item. He said seller had inserted this condition even though at 78yoa, I'm clearly over 18yoa!!!
If having a driver's licence is a condition of sale, it should be clearly laid out in the advertisement before buyer commits to purchase. I regularly purchase wine from several other wine clubs/merchants and have never before encountered this practice.
So much for the buyer's privacy. An expensive lesson learnt.

Hey 7neale, Apologies for the inconvenience this cause but please know a this is not a policy of Dozendeals. I'm not sure why they asked for driver's licence.
