    A 'true to life' visit to the early 1900s, well acted in a credible manner.

    The story lines are believable. It's set in the early 1900s and the props appear to be appropriate to this time. The characters are engaging and their acting is believable. Their costumes are true to the time period. A lot of scenery shots are in sepia and it adds to the believability of time period. The set is comprised of many episodes per series. Great value for money!

    When the (then) Prime Minister of Canada asks for a guest appearance in one of the episodes says it all. Good story lines with the featured inventions in each episode historically correct (I checked) for the year in which the story is set.

    A friend told me about it years ago and I've been trying to watch it ever since. I love the whole concept of murder mystery in the age of invention and love the historical characters they include, both real and fictional.

    Interesting stories and characters.

    The storylines are relevant and, in many cases, provide reasonable historical content. Before too long Murdoch will be credited with inventing the computer! It's an entertaining show with likeable characters and is well produced. Far fetched at times, but that's entertainment.
