Small, light impressive unit
I'm very pleased with the performance of the player with Blu Rays but I was surprised how great my old DVD's also look compared to my old DVD player. It integrates well with my Sony TV and sound system. It also allows me to easily watch content directly from a USB drive which is great. I don't really use it to access online content at the moment so I can't comment on that feature. I wish the remote controls these days had a better way to see the buttons in the dark, my old Sony sound system had buttons that slightly glowed in the dark making the remote easier to find and use.I'm very pleased with the performance of the player with Blu Rays but I was surprised how great my old DVD's also look compared to my old DVD player. Good Value 4K Bluray Player
This compact unit performs well - better than our previous Samsung 4K player and half the size - loads faster, and is easy to use with the simpler remote control. Functions well and produces an excellent picture. It may be a superceded model now (MARCH 2020) as we bought it discounted to $242. Great value at this price. We do recommend it.

No need for another disc player.
This is a typically solid Sony product and does everything one expects. The apps and streaming functionality are the equal of a PlayStation (although not as slick and smooth). The only missing feature is a front panel display to let you know how long you've been watching and what track you're on.

Great Match for Sony UHD 4K Television
I got this to match a new Sony Bravia 43 inch UHD 4K Television. It was very easy to set up with one HDMI cable and works seemlessly with the TV. When I turn on the Blue Ray Player, the TV also comes on automatically selects the correct HDMI port. (The TV also selects the correct HDMI port when I turn on a game console, apparently based on what port is receiving a signal.) Great 4K All Zone Bluray DVD Player.
Works well so far. I have only watched one movie. It was a 4K cartoon. Set up was easy. I took out the player and plugged in the new one using the same HDMI and 240v cables. It performed perfectly with excellent picture and sound. A typical top shelf Sony product.
