  • Smell the smoke and taste the grit ,cry the uncried tears .

A book that captures the events of 2006 in graphic well documented detail . The author was there at the sharp end as we say . Warmly ,. and compassionately written with pathos and humour . A very worthwhile read for anyone who wants to know what its really like in modern combat . A great tribute to the young , and older soldiers of 3 PARA and all our british troops engaged in this disasterous war . They fight for eachother and their Regimental ethos is clear and proud .
