Very easy to set up, and it came with more features than I had read in the description. USB charging port of 5 amps, so easily would charge a cell phone. Also came with a cord to connect the unit to a USB port on my computer, that, after installing the software on the computer, would allow the computer to safely shut down in case of a power outage. It has more than enough battery backed up outlets to meet my needs, and if you needed surge protection for equipment, but not a battery backup, such as a printer, there are an equal number of those outlets.

This particular battery is the best of mid-grade batteries that money can buy. I say that because it has the battery core size to keep a computer going with all the peripherals, and the ability to manipulate the voltage protection window. The USB charging ports are a nice touch too. It should be noted that this battery is not able to be used if you are trying to plug it into a back up generator as a power source.

I own several of these UPS devices and I believe they have saved my bacon more than once. I live in an area where there are power fluctuations and outages on a regular basis. I had lost a DVD duplicator's PSU because it was not connected to a UPS. I replaced the PSU in the duplicator and discovered one drive was damaged too. So far, I haven't lost any other electronic equipment due to power outages.
