This is in keeping with the series and the tongue in cheek. Our hero ends up in a place he doesn't want to be and under circumstances not to his liking. As usual, he then becomes intrigued for all the wrong reasons and as usual solves the mystery, sort of. It makes no difference if you are familiar with opera of the same name. This is a funny addition to the series.
