This device did not work acceptably on my 2002 Ford 7.3 diesel. It is seemingly of good quality, and appeared to be well-designed and engineered; however, it didn't "flow" the crankcase gases well enough, and created backpressure forcing blow-by out of the dipstick tube. I tried everything to make it work, short hose lengths, springs inside the hoses to prevent collapse, even replaced the element with course stainless steel wool. As soon as I removed it, no more gases escape, and no more offensive odors.
