I purchased this Garmin Vivosport as a gift for my husband. He has very large fingers, hands and wrist and we were concerned that it would fit correctly but it does and he says it is very comfortable. The battery lasts about 4 days and charges quickly. The features all work and my husband enjoys checking his steps, stairs and stress levels each day as he works. The watch is easy to use. He is very happy with the Vivosport.

Good: .Works fantastic with walking, running and riding modes. .HR rate accuracy is very good for the above activities. .Despite the small screen, it is easy to manipulate. .GPS signal aquired very fast when outdoors and accuracy is good enough. Bad: .Lack of swimming capabilities - Despite the IQ move feature detects you are swimming, it does not record a swimming activity so you don't know anything else than the time the activity last. I guess this is just a limitiation/strategy for upselling. .Screen gets activated in the pool, like if you were actually touching it but your are not. This is very annoying when you started a general aerobic activity to track your swimming a bit better and all of a sudden the activity stops!

My wife and I purchased Garmin Vivosmart 3 Fitness Trackers, me to upgrade a Vivofit 2 and my wife to replace a lost Vivosmart HR Fitness Tracker. After a day, we both returned them due to two big issues. The first reason was the displays were almost unreadable outdoors, even under cloudy conditions. The second reason was they almost never reacted to wrist movement, so we were constantly double clicking the display just to read it. The Garmin Vivosport has all of the features of the Vivosmart 3 and none of its limitations. The color display is very readable outdoors and it responds well to wrist movements. Its easy to scroll through menus and the vibration alerts are easy to notice. At night during quiet times, one tap on the display brings up the backlight. Nice fitness tracker!

My first fitness watch and I love it. Pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. The Garmin Express APP on phone and computer is perfect to see all activity, including sleep patterns. Only complaints are that the face of watch is a bit small for a larger guy like myself and the battery seems to drain much faster in the GPS mode which I use a lot for jogs and walks. Had one issue I needed to contact customer support about and it was quick and easy to make contact with online chat.

This is an impressive fitness band and activity tracker. I moved to this from a Moto 360 Sport and it was a good change. While the smart features for this device don't match the 360, it's much better for fitness and workouts. I'm particularly impressed with the GPS and run tracking features and data. Overall, a very good device that I'd recommend.

This Tracker is soft and smooth and is very comfortable. The App is superior to all of the Chinese Apps for all of the trackers that can be viewed just about anywhere. It has a lot of functionality and is quite configurable. The only way you will know that it's refurbished is that it comes in a Garmin box marked that way. Other than that this tracker looked and acted brand new. Initial charge took one hour and I downloaded the app and configured it the way I wanted while it charged. There are a few settings that have to be done in the tracker settings on it's screen, brightness, vibration, things like that. The only drawback that I can see is that the band itself is not user replaceable. It is covered for 1 year from Garmin, but it's a pay situation after that. If you are hard on bands you may want to think about that.Read full review

Very smooth and lightweight tracker. I like that I can always see the time and date without hitting a button. Speaking of which, this tracker has no buttons to remember it's all touch screen. It vibrates when I have a text if my phone is close by such as in my purse. Not a full fledged smart phone, but helpful enough for me at a good price. The only thing I don't like, if I cross my arms and touch the screen, it activates a prompt.

This is a really nice watch. It has all the tracking features I wanted plus the face is easy to read. The phone app is good too.

I had the VivoSport for a year or so, then got an Apple Watch Series 4, but I liked the VivoSport better so I sold my AW and went back to the Garmin. The VivoSport is lighter, the battery lasts longer, and it does just want I want. The Apple Watch is great, but it's just a lot heavier, I constantly have to charge it, and my biggest complaint is that I don't get notifications on the AW if my phone is unlocked (that's the way notifications work with Apple, but it's not the way I like it). I would highly recommend the VivoSport; it tracks my activity, it's super light, and the battery lasts almost a week without charging. The display is colorful and simple, and I get my notifications just like I like.

I have had several Garmin devices. Garmin is my "go to" for fitness devices. Nobody wants to setup a new fitness tracking account every time they get a new device. Just add this device to your account and you are off and running. I have had several Forerunners and a Vivofit. I like this tracker. It is accurate and is ideal for the casual runner. Satellite acquisition is quick. A lot of tracker in a small package. Downsides: touchscreen is finicky - I wish it had a start and stop button; and you have to take it off to recharge every few days (don't forget).
