    Poor Picture Quality DVD

    As a Filmmaker and Industry Professional I Was Very Dissapointed To Say The Least With The Picture Quality of This DVD Import of "BRAINDEAD" . I Own The US Version Which is of A Much Clearer Copy of This Film. This European DVD Looks Like It Was Mastered From A VHS Tape! Very Unhappy..Some Argue That The Film Is Older & It Was Shot on Film But That is No Excuse. I Own Much Older Films Transfered to DVD And They Look Fine. If I Never Watched The US Version I Would Have Nothing to Compare It To. More Attention Could Have Gone Into The Quality of This Version

    Pure awesome

    If you want to see a baby in a blender, who then gets punched out of a window by a full grown man, then this is the film for you. It is ridiculously gory, but obviously low budget. However, I always think that the low budget gore is actually more effective than all the special effects they can achieve now, It actually makes me cringe more, because not only does it look like blood and guts, half the time it looks like food and stuff as well, which is just grotesque. Buy this if you like Horror/Comedy/Gore/Stupidness. And if you do buy it, Get 'Bad Taste' to go with it!
