Wrapped and packaged with manual like new + like shipped from mfc. However item did not work! Spools stuck due to hardened lubricants. Contacted seller who advised to open appliance and re-lubricate moving parts. Done this and rewinder works fine.
Just a thought:
If a buyer had bought this item especially because it is "new" (not a used/worn model) and because of his lack of technical understanding, he would likely return it. Recommended to seller a pre-check before sending.
