I gave the Samsung 870 EVO 3 stars because the ssd is not compatible with the Dell Inspiron 3650 desktop pc. It would not clone using the Samsung Magician data migration or the older version of the Samsung data migration software. The Crucial MX 500 SSD series did work on the Dell pc without any problems. I will keep the Samsung 870 ssd for a future upgrade.

I bought this drive to replace the Hard Drive in a laptop that had really slowed down over the years. I chose the 870 EVO after reading reviews stating that it was the best consumer SATA 2.5 SSD on the market. I could not be more happy with the purchase.
