    Good Disney film.

Good movie. I saw this years ago and now that I have grandchildren, I want it on hand for them. It has good leads and a fine supporting cast. The story and screenplay are very good. Well worth your time to watch.

  • A Bug's Life

A Bugs Life is funny, vibrant looking and appealing to all ages. The story opens with the ants harvesting food for their archenemies, the grasshoppers. The long line of ants carrying the food is stopped dead in its tracks by a disaster. A leaf has fallen smack dab in the middle of the line, and they have no idea how to cope. Finally, it is suggested that they might actually walk around the leaf, and, miracle of miracles, that works. One ants claims that the catastrophe wasn't nearly as bad as the "twig of 93." The grasshoppers are led by a mean looking critter named Hopper, done with a deliciously sinister voice by Kevin Spacey. "Ants pick the food; grasshoppers eat the food," Hopper keeps reminding the ants of their place in life. And when ants don't toe the line, Hopper's universal ...

  • Pretty good movie

Our boy (2-1/2 years old) watches Cars every night before bed, so we bought this one in hopes of finding an alternative since we have Cars memorized. Well, there are quite a few scary scenes for a kid this young. In addition, while the overall theme is positive, there is a lot of negative talk from the grasshoppers. Kids at a young age pick up on words like stupid and idiot (also in Cars) and it can be tough to train them not to use them. Wall-E is one of my favorites because there is hardly any dialog, no scary scenes, and the whole movie is pretty positive. Anyway, kids 4 and up (to about 35 years old) will enjoy the A Bugs Life. Just be sure to sit with them every so often to reinforce the good behavior of the characters and condemn the bad.

  • A bug's life is the right title for this movie.

It is a very funny comical movie and the cost low. I do like movies like these. where it is narrated.
