This is a "you-get-what-you-pay-for" item. For the price it's very nice: a large colorful gemstone that would be a great gift for young or first time collectors, people wanting an interesting Knick knack, etc. If you are looking for a high quality loose stone, this probably isn't it, but I'm happy with my purchase and it mostly is as described. It's definitely 80-ish carats in weight and size (due to it's depth, not length/width).
