The outside texture looks just as it did when it dropped to the ground millions of years ago. I have several SQ covers pet wood pieces. None this thick, & you can see layers of SQ running through the whole piece. Took longer than most to ship, but all good there. I’ve got enough rocks coming in. It’s not going to ruin my day if I don’t get it right away. Very well protected for shipment
