Reviews
[Kempe] bursts from the pages of this careful and sober critical edition like Molly Bloom. Windeatt's introduction and detailed notes help to place her in a cultural context. [...]In terms of comparison and allusion to Middle English Texts and provision of a helpful glossary, this edition is exemplary. ENGLISH HISTORICAL REVIEW

[This edition previously published by Longman.] The Book of Margery Kempe , the earliest surviving autobiography in English (dated 1436-8), is a unique account of the extraordinary life, travels and revelations of a fifteenth-century Norfolk housewife and mother, pilgrim, prophet and visionary; it is one of the most compelling and significant English texts of the middle ages. Items arrived in excellent condition, exactly as shown in pictures & as described in the listing. It was packaged very well to make sure there were no issues affecting quality during the shipping process. The price paid for the items + shipping was extremely fair. Total time from date of purchase until arrival was 3 Days, SUPER FAST shipping speed. Entire transaction went smoothly, no complaints. Highly satisfied with everything about this purchase and would recommend this seller to others.

Shipping, packing was good. Album was a sealed, bought at Walmart remaster. There was a corner crease on the outer sleeve but didn't hurt the record, so look at pics very closely. Honestly, I think I'll start checking out retail stores more for new albums and save the bay for originals cause by the time you factor in the price+shipping and tax, you probably save some by buying at those places. I won't find all I'm looking for but would probably find some at least. A+ seller tho!

Album was packed well, shipped quickly, and sealed. BUT, the album I received did not have the Wal-Mart hype sticker that was clearly shown in the only photo in the listing. There is a square spot of glue residue where the sticker obviously was at some point. Not a huge deal, but still, I received a different version of the album than the one shown in the listing.
