    Samsung Watch 4: Good device, bad battery

    I bought the Samsung Galaxy watch 4 as a replacement for my Samsung frontier gear S3. I love my S3, but felt that the fall detection feature was worth upgrading to the newest model. There are a lot of improvements and new features on the 4, but battery life is not one of them. While I charged my S3 every other day, I find that the 4 has to be charged once each day, and I find this annoying. If I do it overnight, then I lose the sleep analysis feature. Maybe I should have waited for the watch 5.

    Good fitness watch.

    I bought watch (4 classic) to replace my Gear 3 Frontier as this watch has sensor for oxygen, stress, and ECG. Samsung removed sensor on phones after S10 and therefore I had to upgrade my watch too. Gear 3 still works great but wanted the added features that now only come on watch. Unfortunately Samsung removed MST from this watch so now I have to use my phone (S20) for Samsung Pay at location that do not have tap technology. Gear 3 works everywhere there's a terminal old or new. Watch 4 only tap option. Other than that watch is great. Bought a rugged case and now is better protected and looks like the Casio G-shock from back in the days.

    Great watch, buying it refurbished is a great value

    Great watch. Coming from an apple watch series 4, this does everything the apple watch could and more. I do wish a few features were available in the us that aren't. Despite what I've read online, my battery lasts 2 days with some juice to spare, and I'd say I use it in a pretty average manner. I bought a refurbished one and couldn't tell the difference from a brand new one.

    Great hardware at a value price

    I had been trying to decide between the Vivoactive 4 and the Watch 4 Classic. With its integration into Google, Watch 4 had loads of flexibility I did not have with the Vivoactive. My main concern was the battery, but with careful settings and disciplined charging, it has not been an issue. Thanks to youtube, I was able to get up to speed quickly with the device. Easy to configure, easy to use, nice bright screen. Integrates with my VR program, Supernatural.
