    Love Wendy Hiller

    This film was first released when I was 9 years old in 1938 I was introduced to Shaw as a young collegian in the late 1940's. Shaw's play, the written word, left an impression on me. I can't recall when I first saw the film but when I did, I fell in love, figuratively, with Wendy Hiller. Over the years I've viewed the film several times. Now., at 86, I've enjoyed it again. This CRITERION release is as good as it gets. This a wonderful film.

    A classic film that was to be My Fair Lady in 1964

    This is a wonderful film with masterful acting by Leslie Howard and Wendy Hiller. Turned into the stage musical in the 1950’s and then into the movie extravaganza My Fair Lady in 1964 at great cost by Jack Warner. Paired this Dvd with the Musical dvd in my collection.
