Great find!
Just like all Lego products they enhance creativity in a child. Our son is 10 years old and just the age for this model. I think the beginning ages for Lego models are not accurate for the average-to above average child. A more accurate beginning age is in the middle! And the versatility of having 3 models is great! Awesome Toy!
One of the reasons we get so frustrated with Legos is that my son builds them and immediately takes them apart never to get built again. It seems - once the thrill of building the original design is gone - there is no reason to return to the Legos from that set anymore. Other 3 in 1 sets are more "landscapes," such as tree houses, or vehicles. My son LOVES critters, so this set is perfect! He has built and rebuilt every creature in this set more than once! There is always a new thrill with building the next creature.
