A dark tale masterfully told.
Although it is a hint darker than I prefer. The beautiful animation drew me in. A tale of a young medical student desperately in search of a way to retrieve the lost soul of his deceased friend. The impact his choices make on the world. Unlike some anime movies the story is completed. Oh and a little hint, you need to sit through the end credits. Some more of the story is spoken and then a nice ending scene. The animation, story and English voice actors are all excellent. Making The Empire of Corpses a must see movie.
