Good build quality, but motorized would be better.
Needs a motor to get really smooth movement. Price is right for what I got, but I got it cheap. Base plate seems flat but one wheel doesn't want to make contact on surface when not pressing down while rolling, so it can be a bit jerky while pushing. Lighter pressure helps, but more testing necessary to see if perhaps my surface wasn't flat (desktop... Should be flat...) Does what it is supposed to do, which is give a nice smooth roll (depending on your ability to push smoothly) and get a cool pan around the subject. The handle seems useless, but maybe in certain circumstances it'll help some. Includes a nice set of components for the mount arm, including a hot shoe. Single-action twist lock binds all joints and ball heads at once... get things where you want them and tighten it up! Ready to go. More than enough options for mounting arm to plate with extra holes to mount a light or extra accessory if needed. For what it is, it's as good as could be expected and nicely put together. For my cost, $28 shipping included, it's a good deal. Wouldn't pay more than that. Photos show all accessories that came with it. Arrows point to 1/4-20 holes. Lots of mounting options! Really like the build quality.
