American pianist Jim Brickman is known more for his behind-the-scenes compositions than his performances. Having written jingles for the Gap and Kelloggs, Brickman has probably had most Americans whistling his tunes without knowing that he wrote them. On this release, though, Brickman goes in front of the camera for some fabulous pop piano playing. Along with special guests like Olivia Newton-John and Donny Osmond, Brickman performs a lovely set of his gently soothing pop music.
