It's a cool controller to use once in a while.
Its futuristic (but still mid'90s) aesthetic
still looks awesome to this day.
The design of the d-pad was certainly a risk
at the time and does decent for fighting games
and shooters, but it doesn't play as well
as the classic Genesis/Saturn d-pad
in the long run.
The shoulder "triggers" are slightly awkward,
but don't take long to get used to.
Overall, it's fun to use occasionally,
but it's easy to see why Sega fans
prefer the style of the original Japanese
controller.
