  • (Knocked Out Iraqi Vehicles) in the Sand

    First off, this is a great reference in a long line of excellent Concord titles. Also, my review is from a scale modeler's perspective. While there are some excellent photos of Marine Amtracs (LVTP-7) and M60A1's (some with mine rollers!) the majority of photos in this book are of knocked out/ abandoned Iraqi vehicles in various states. This is not a bad thing though, as there are excellent photos of t-55s, -72s, Type 69s, and even the YW-531! There are even a few shots of The Enigma. The color photo section is also particularly useful in showing the different grey-greens and grey-sand Iraqi colors that seem to elude most model kit and paint manufacturers. Invaluable if you are the type to mix your own accurate colors. If you are looking for the best reference for USMC armor in the Gulf, ...
