I bought it for my recently delivered 80-200mm f2.8 D lens, but I found out after I bought it that it is for the AF-S version of the lens. The case works OK with the AF version of the lens I own, but it's a bit tall for a perfect fit (the lens is IF and doesn't extend). A bit of bubble wrap around the lens keeps it tight in the case.
