Great speaker
I hate that JBL blundered and didn't provide the clip 3 with the JBL connect + feature. It's a no brainer because this will be the top selling speaker of the brand. I love this speaker. I've bought and tested every brand. Not even Bose does it for me.

Short life span for the money
I really liked JBL Clip3 at first. It was the right size, waterproof, and the clip proved to be very convenient. This is the second Clip3 that I have bought. The first one worked great for about a year before it failed to take a charge. The second one only lasted five days before it also failed to charge. The seems to be an inherent weakness in the charging system. A Google search will show that this exists in all of the Clip models. small size but big quality

Great speaker that goes where you do.
Clip it to my tool belt and jam while I work. The clip is big enough so it makes for easy attachment and removal. A long leap ahead of the Clip 2
The Clip 3 improves everything that the Clip 2 left to be desired. Battery life is excellent for a device this size - at least twice that of its predecessor. The Bluetooth range is improved by several feet. The clip is part of the body vs attached via a silicone loop. Pairing is even quicker. Great sounding speaker. The only draw back and is it is not easy to connect to my iPod via Bluetooth. The problem is not with the speaker but with my iPod. Super cool speaker. Sounds awesome and the clip makes it really convenient. I haven’t tried the water resistance but it’s held up pretty good so far. Edit.
