In Alpha Denshi's World Heroes, eight of the greatest warriors in history have been brought together to prove their mettle against a shapeshifting alien. Characters are loosely based on such real-life figures as Genghis Khan, Joan of Arc, Rasputin, Bruce Lee, Hanzo Hattori, and even Hulk Hogan, though the majority of names have been altered. A three-button control scheme allows for punches, kicks, and throws. Challenge the computer or a friend in either a "normal" match or a special death match. The latter is held within enclosed arenas featuring hazards like spikes, fire, mines, and electrified fences. Reduce your opponent's health to zero before time expires to win each one-on-one fight.
