Recomended - Floss Twice a Day
I've always disliked flossing. From the floss getting wet and slipping through your fingers, to the occasional blood.
I believe I have finally found a great dentist. He recommended that I floss twice a day, as tartar starts to harden after 24 hours. In that way, even if I miss one time, I still do it within 24 hours.
He also said that people who seldom floss have more problem with bleeding gums than those who floss all the time.
My checkups have been great and I don't bleed.
I take a piece as long as the sink is wide and wrap it around my fingers on both sides so it doesn't slip. That takes a section of floss about 18" long. This floss works perfectly for that purpose. There is enough I can go many months without needing a new roll.
When the roll gets low, it does tend to stick and not roll out easily, But that lets you know you are near the end. It's nothing that can't be overcome with a little more pressure.
Rolls can also be replace with just the insert of floss, but I always buy a complete container when i need more.
It's a great and economical product.
