  • Simple operation. Nice sound.

Simple operation, which is what I preferred. Sound, paired with a Yamaha RX V690, is good. The stylus "floats" to the record, Stylus pressure, although I have not measured is, appears very light, saving wear on the vinyl. The table rotates without any audible wow or flutter. For my purposes, the Audio Technica, at it's very reasonable cost, was a good choice.

  • Great turntable for those of us who are not high-end vinyl listeners but want a turntable.

I bought another brand of turntable years ago, still working, and another one that has a belt issue. This turntable, around $100, is good enough for us non-high end vinyl listeners. It was easy to install (i used the phono RCA plugs to my amplifier). At first the sound didn't come through until I found the switch on the back of the unit that switches between the Phono plug in and the Aux plug in. If you don't get good sound, that is likely your issue - OR - you failed to make sure that the belt was properly aligned. With all said and done, it works just fine, the sound comes through clear and it is cheap. As I don't play a lot of vinyl, it should last a long time. If you are particular about your sound, want to have a changeable needle, etc. you will want to pay much more. It is possible to spend thousands on turntables - so this one at $100 is just for those of us with lesser needs. But still want something that allows us to play our vinyl records.

  • First record player

I spent a decent amount of time researching which one to buy in my budget range. It's my first one and I didn't need to go with any of the super high end ones, but at this price point I am super pleasantly surprised. It was extremely easy to set up, works without a hitch, and has pretty good audio quality, to the point that I'm more restricted by the quality of my speakers

  • Bring back those musical memories

Easy to put together. Would recommend going to their web site to get detailed setup if you are unsure as there is no paper instructions. Hook up to a stand alone speakers and to wall sockets required me to buy an 25' RCA white and red cable to accommodate location of turn table in relation to my speaker location. You also may need two extension cords for power to speakers and turntable. Just depends on where you want to set up your new system. Sound is great and to hear that familiar sound of a needle on vinyl brought back so many great memories.
