    GREAT MOVIE, DAMAGED DVD

    Great movie, very dark politically incorrect humor, which I desire. Movie has lots of edge and bite to it start to finish. R-rating helped enormously to avoid lame writing and acting... It's the best National Lampoon Vacation movie since the first 2... DVD was damaged, scuffed or bent mark that I couldn't just wipe away, causing a noticeable skip at end of the infamous Chris Hemsworth bedroom scene... Be careful not to buy any used/abused dvd's... I bought this used because the new dvd prices for this high demand new movie were too high, and you get what you pay for... Sometimes used dvd's work fine, sometimes they don't. I rolled the dice and got a little cheated... DVD also doesn't have audio commentary on the part of cast and crew, maybe it will on blu-ray.

    Should have been rated higher than "R"

    My 16 year old wanted this DVD for Christmas so I bought it for her. From seeing the trailer it didn't look too bad. This was not a movie for young adults! Language was badly but the showing of the male front private was astronomical!! I was expecting a better movie bring that Christina Applegate was in it. Very very disappointed!!

    A+++++ was a good movie and item. The ONLY issue I had was the disc had one moment where is stopped and disc skipped. I just needed to cleanse it and it worked fine. Would come back for more

    "Vacation" actually turned out to be a well-worthy addition to the franchise,

    "Vacation" actually turned out to be a well-worthy addition to the franchise, and it managed to stand out as being its own movie. I was worried about the fact that this was set around Rusty Griswold as the main character, now all grown up, but it actually worked out well enough. Along the way the family has mishaps, being chased across the country by a demented trucker, swimming in a hot spring which is full of raw sewage, going white water rafting with a suicidal guy, having their car ransacked. I'm not going to lie, VACATION does have several laughs that work. In fact, I'd say I laughed quite a bit but at the end of the film you're still left with many jokes that didn't work. The humour is more course, cruder and infantile than the original film.

    The comedy writers must have been on vacation

    I was hoping for a great sequel to the other Vacation movies. I should have known better. I'm 63 and have NEVER seen a piece of garbage like this. I laughed twice. Bad acting, no comedy.
