    OK, but not great with glasses

    I had purchased this specifically so that I wouldn't have to remove my glasses every time I take a shot. So, not so happy that that isn't the case. Without glasses, it is wonderful. I'd give this a 3 1/2 stars, better than a three, but not good enough to rate a four. If it wasn't for it being a complete bust for use with eyeglasses, I'd give it a five. It really is nice, but worthless for the reason I bought it. And I don't know if there is a eye cup that works well with glasses. This was the only one that I've seen that claims so...and is not. I already OWNED an eye cup that worked well without my glasses on...so I gained nothing with this purchase and the money would have been better spent on a steak dinner or a tank of gas.

    Tight fit on Sony a6500 but works well

    Was disappointed initially that I could not find a Hoodeye for the 6500- I have them on my Canons and on the old A6000. Then found a reference on the Hoodman site that this one fits. It was tight to snap on but indeed it does fit, and will not coming loose in a hurry which had been an issue with the older versions. If you wear glasses these are hard to beat.

    hoodman eyecup for glasses

    I don't personally wear glasses, but I wear make up to most shoots, This prevents me from looking like a racoon and lets me squint less and over all more comfortablilty
