Good product on a budget
I haven’t actually used it to tow yet but it’s pretty easy to use, seems to work well when I connected it to my trailer it’s got a ramp speed on the side so you can adjust how fast the brakes come on and the front is how much break to use, all led display makes it easy to see, the only bad is it is just built cheap, but we will see how long it lasts!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

good value for a base brake controller
A very good basic controller. If you do a lot of hauling or RVing might want to look into one that's a little more sophisticated. This controller does not have brake wire circuit protection built in. A short in that wire will burn the unit out. Check to see if the wiring of your vehicle is protected. Adapters are avaiable from distributors to plug right into some vehicles that have been prewired.
