Great mouse
Am a musician, record music and demos in home studio. Was living in ignorance with an old single click Apple mouse, but now life has been changed by using this brilliant Magic Mouse. Can scroll, switch apps, right click and zoom much more easily and independently of using the keyboard in most cases. This has made my job so much easier. Good in theory
The idea of building a certain amount of trackpad functionality into a mouse should have made this product a sure-fire winner. Unfortunately, a combination of its long, low physical form and sluggish click-action, meant I found the unit quite tiring for prolonged use. Great, but not for everyone
I've been using Magic Mouse for over 7 years now and have never had any major issues with that apart from one: it keeps disconnecting each time I slightly lift and put it back on the table (recently bought another one and it has the same issue). It happens probably due to the way I'm handling the mouse and you might never experience this at all if you are gentle with it. It is also easy to reconnect back, usually takes only few seconds. But if you are handling the mouse in sort of 'aggressive' way (eg. in gaming or fast-peaced office environment) you might be disappointed with this one as it is not 100% reliable. The whole surface of the mouse is made-up of a mini-trackpad that accepts all kinds of multitouch gestures which have various functions in MacOS. It all works very well and I found them useful for browsing internet, navigating documents, swapping between apps and other desktop tasks. The pointer is precise and stable – it helps in design apps such as Illustrator of SketchUp. The mouse is also quite durable – been using a second-hand one bought of Ebay around 2010, still works and looks good. Easy to clean as it doesn't have any buttons, wheels etc. the surface might get scratched, though, as it is not as durable as the iPhone glass. Big improvement on old version!
This apple Magic Mouse 2 is a good improvement on the old version in that it has inbuilt battery and feels more solid because of this. I used to use the original wired Magic Mouse which sadly had problems with the ball movement. all in all a great mouse with touch sensitivity one, two or three fingers etc.. great for when your MacBook is connected to my Apple Cinema Display.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

If you haven't tried this mouse, get a second hand one!

Apple Mouse
I love my apple mouse. Does all kind of things that standard mouse cannot do. The multi-touch surface including side swipe and flick scrolling allows you to do simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents. It is also easier and to move with less resistance across your desk. I love it. Its comfortable to use, stylish and it looks impressive with clients. The only thing about buying preloved apple magic mouse is that is registered to the original owner so if you ever loose connection with your booth tooth and have to reconnect, the original owners name comes up on the screen which could be embarrassing when with a client but apart from that its brilliant!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

A handful of fun

Bluetooth mouse must be an Apple Magic Mouse!
Fantastic mouse! Lightweight and sleek! Always stays connected to my computer unless i turn it off, no need for a silly usb nano receiver! On and off button makes it easy to travel with, just pop it in your bag without fear of it running out of juice! Looks great too. and the touch features on top of the mouse (which obviously puts the 'magic' in 'magic mouse') is flawless! I can zoom, scroll, swipe, all sorts. Great product! Beautiful form factor but lousy battery life
