  • One of McCammons Best

This is one of McCammons better books I do prefer Kings earlier works overall. But I know and love the area the book is set in I also have and use a cane described in the book. I had the cane years before the book was published inherited from my great grandfather. In addition to migraines so can relate to a lot of the books content. Have a number of friends that are practitioners of Wicca. Different religion but, and prefer my Welsh Pies with ground beef, lamb or even chicken. Not Jeffrey Dahmer specials.

  • Southern Gothic Horror that reads like a cable min series.

This book is one of the best horror novels ever written. It ranks up with Stephen King's Salem's Lot and Richard Matheson's Hell House. Edgar Allan Poe, the grand daddy of them all would love this historic homage to Fall of the House of Usher. Yes, the copy of the book I purchased was used, it came from a Library in South Dakota, but overall it was in good shape. It inspired me to purchase the Deluxe slip cased autograph addition of Usher's Passing.
