    Great chain

I've been using SRAM bike chains for many years and have never had a problem with them. 8, 9, 10 speed, all good. I like the SRAM quick link better than Shimano's pin set up. I've used the SRAM chains with a mix of Shimano and SRAM components and the shifting has always been crisp and smooth. The price is reasonable and I'm guessing that they are good for about 3000 miles running them in mostly dry, sometimes dusty conditions.

I thought it would be better then KMC x10 chain

Bike has Sram Crank, Cassette, Derailleurs and Shifters, Everyone said the Sram chain is best, but the bike now has issues shifting on cassette cogs. All Derailleurs and shifters are adjusted 100% perfect. I put a new KMC x10 chain on and now the bike shifts great. I even tried two new Sram PC 1051 chains, same issue with poor shifting. Big mistake buying and trying the Sram PC 1051 chain. If your bike shifts good but you need a new chain, I recommend buying the same brand and part number chain that came on your bike.

  • Works fine but doesn't last that long

Works fine but I only get about 1000 miles out of one of these chains. Most of my riding is up and down mountains. Chains don't last as long as they use to. Maybe because they are thinner with more gears on a cassette. My previous bike's chain lasted at least 4 times longer. They don't make them like they use to.

  • 10 speed version of the power lock

Good chain. Quiet. I like the silver color because I can see the dirt easier. I did not like the power lock in that what I had seen on youtube was it was easily removable by hand. The 10 speed version of the power lock however is that it takes a tool to remove it. This is not good for roadside repair. Bummer.

  • SRAM PC 1051 10 speed chain solves my gear jumping problems

The SRAM 1051 was just what the Dr. ordered, Working great with my new cassette, Easy install.

  • Smooth shifting

Great chain. Easy to install using the included power-lock link. The bike shifts more smoothly than the old chain ever did. Bought another one as my second bike is about due for a new chain.

  • Hate the Standard Black Quick Link

This link is a one-time use, advertises the chain can be easily stolen and is a distraction from the overall beauty of this nickel plated chain. I always replace it with a third party nickel plated quick link.

  • Godd stuff

Great chain, love the included quick link. One note - on a 29er hardtail 1x10 drivetrain, I did not cut the chain, it was just long enough. It'd be good to know how many links this is

  • Great chains with handy master link

I like SRAM chains because they're strong and have a master link that makes it easy to replace the derailleur or shorten the chain.

  • Most durable 10-speed chain available

Smooth, slick solid side plates and solid pins (no slots in the side plates to trap dirt and weaken the chain in the name of saving a few meaningless grams), nickel-plated for rust resistance. Strongest, longest-lasting 10-speed chain I have ever come across, and inexpensive too. I refuse to use any other 10-speed chain on my own bikes.
