    On receiving the item, I messaged the seller with the following, and the pictures - Hi seller - The lamp arrived safely, just, the packaging was soaked in paraffin, as was the box - pictures attached. It stank to high heaven. It is illegal to send anything like this through the post. Not impressed. Look forward to your response before leaving feedback. B The seller was very apologetic, and refunded without question. Honourable seller. Deserves positive feedback.

It did have a blown mains filter - which is completely expected for this type of device. After that was replaced the device now functions as good as new! The packaging was exceptionally robust. The appearance of the product was exactly as shown and described in the listings. It even included a power cable!
